“It is very rare to feel at home in a place so far from where you come from. I had never been in a Buddhist country, a paper factory, in a typical hot stone bath, in the Tiger’s Nest and most of all in such a warm and inviting country like Bhutan. With all of the wonderful landscapes, stupas, monasteries and temples that the country offers, the most special part for us were the people. Imprint Bhutan gave us much more than a tour around town, their staff managed to show us the real Bhutan, allowing us to come into local people’s homes, participate in typical games such us archery and darts(Bhutanese sport called khuru), visit the markets, watch dance rehearsals for the festivals, visit small communities and really feel like a part of this wonderful place. Moreover, their hotels and restaurants were all carefully hand picked and their staff extremely flexible, competent and lovely.
We couldn’t ask for a better visit to Bhutan we can’t wait to come back. Thank you Imprint Bhutan!”
